Apple launched, about a year ago, a study of Apple Watch users’ hearing health. That’s right…There’s an app for that!
Both questionnaires and regular hearing tests were used in this study. The preliminary findings, roughly 25% of participants, reported tinnitus which is ringing in the ears. One and five were roughly 20% reported hearing loss. About 10% of all the participants had received in audiologic examination which indicated hearing loss end of those only 25% were using hearing aids.
Apple believes this study will eventually include hundreds of thousands of Apple Watch users as the study grows in participants. The findings today confirm what we already know: the problem of hearing loss is not only common it often goes untreated.

From there you go to your iPhone and open the Health App, click on the “Show All Health Data” and then scroll down to “Environmental Sound Levels” and you will get an in-depth account of the environmental sound levels you have been exposed to.
